We are in the midst of Freedom to Read week here in Canada and as the YA Graphic Novel Librarian we have experienced some challenges in the past. Have any of you had any recent challenges to comic or graphic arts materials?

We cant buy anything rated M for mature for the Y Graphic Novel collection. Before I got here there was a challenge on a book rated M and it was moved out of the teen graphic novels and into the adult Non-fiction section.

The only Graphic Novel Challenge I can think of came with a request to re-label a Hernandez Brothers graphic novel.
