Registration is available on site.  Please note that if you are a speaker, member of TLA or TASL, you must fill out the paper registration form.

Fees for registering online or on location on or after October 14, 2014, are as follows:

  • $320 ALA Personal Member
  • $375 Nonmember
  • $75 Student Member of YALSA
Advanced registration runs September 16 - October 13, 2014.

Early Bird Rate runs April 1-September 15, 2014.

Special Events (these events are optional and require additional registration):

  • Friday, Half day preconferences, $69
  • Friday, 8:30-10:30pm. Tickets, $40. Boat Cruise.  Grab a sweater and join us for a cocktail while we cruise beautiful Lady Bird Lake.
  • Saturday, 12:00pm-1:30pm, $46. Teens’ Top Ten Author Luncheon featuring Marissa Meyer, Julie Kagawa and Maggie Stiefvater

What Registration Includes

  • Symposium registration includes a networking reception Friday evening, concurrent sessions on Saturday, two coffee breaks on Saturday, a Saturday evening reception, concurrent sessions and a closing session until 1 p.m. Sunday, and a coffee break on Sunday morning. 
  • All attendees can opt to receive a certificate of participation that indicates how many hours of continuing education he/she participated in.
  • Publishers and authors often donate books to the symposium, which are distributed free to registered attendees.
